New Year's Party; 2021 Style
Back in April of this year, maybe even May, I think we all thought we’d be celebrating 2021 “just like normal”. A big party with all our family and friends to ring in a more hopeful year and to laugh about the trials and tribulations of this one.
Unfortunately, we just aren’t there yet. As I write this, the virus numbers are higher than they’ve ever been and healthcare and government officials alike are pleading with us to continue to wear our masks, wash our hands and social distance.
I truly believe better times are ahead. There is hope in the vaccines that have been approved and the ones that are close behind. I believe that our front line healthcare workers have gone, and continue to go above and beyond to save lives. I believe that most Americans are doing everything they can to stop the spread of this virus and so I believe there is still cause to celebrate….just maybe not in the way we’d hoped. So, put on some make up, do up your hair, and wear your sparkliest outfit (pants optional). Send your Zoom invite to your closest friends and family, unmute your mic and toast to 2021! You can even pre-game by sharing these cocktail recipe’s below! Best wishes and Cheers to you and yours!
