No Turkey? No Problem!
You may have heard the hype about it being difficult to find your Thanksgiving turkey this year, and while this may, or may not be true, it is likely that even the threat of a low supply of our favorite fall time bird, is bound to drive up prices. While I’m as traditional as the next person, that doesn’t mean I’m not open to other Thanksgiving day options. You can fill in your feast with all the sides you want, the sweet potato, mashed potato, stuffing, squash, green bean casserole and more, but the main attraction doesn’t necessarily have to be turkey.
After pouring over some recipes, I came up with a list of some options to hold it’s place front and center on your harvest table. Consider these tasty alternatives:
Cranberry Glazed Ham (from Taste of Home)

Stuffed Roast Duck (from Amira’s Pantry)

Garlic Baked Pork Tenderloin (from Sweet C’s)

Seafood Casserole (from The Midnight Baker)

Garden Vegetable Lasagna (from Recipe Girl)

So don’t throw in the towel this Thanksgiving. Dare to be different and give one of these fantastic recipes a try. Or do your own sleuthing to find just the right dish for you and your family to be thankful for!
