Quick, Easy, Delicious, Nutritious
It’s winter, It’s cold, I don’t love to go outside. But one of the things I do love to do in the winter is cook. On a snowy, chilly, Sunday afternoon, you will often find me in the kitchen trying a new recipe. And when I have the luxury of this time, I don’t care how long it takes and I’ll often search out a complicated recipe just for the challenge.
But most often we don’t have the luxury of time, but we still want to make something healthy and tasty. And that’s why I’ve become a fan of the Sheet Pan Dinner! Protein, veggie and starch (if you want it) all on one pan, and relatively quickly. Most can be prepped and cooked in under an hour.
It’s best to have a solid, reliable sheet pan, and then most of your regular kitchen tools, such as knives, mixing bowls and measuring spoons/cups will be all that you need.
I’ve collected a few of my recent favorites for you to try, but there are hundreds of ideas out there. And if you don’t like a particular ingredient, you can usually swap it out for another!
Baked Pork Chop & Asparagus Dinner (from The Modern Proper)
Chicken Broccoli & Sweet Potato Dinner (from Cooking Classy)

Spicy Jerk Shrimp (from Eating Well)
Hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
