OK, I know that in the lineup of holidays, Valentine’s Day may not carry the weight of say, Christmas, or Easter, but it’s a holiday none the less and more than ever, I think it’s worth celebrating.

I know, I’ve heard the remarks; “It’s just another day.” “I don’t have a significant other, why celebrate?” “It’s just a day made up by the card companies to make money.” And yes, there may be some validity to these. I might have even uttered one or more of these a time or two. But in truth, with all the division and hatred in the world, I can’t think of a better time to celebrate love.

Perhaps you have a special someone in your life. Don’t wait to tell that person how you feel. Life is short so stop and “smell the roses” as they say.
