Don't be Afraid to be Bold!
I’m not going to lie; too much color scares me sometimes. It’s not because I don’t like color, but I think I feel safer with muted tones. Soft, mossy greens, understated ocean blues, buttery yellows, and dare I say it…subtle grays.
But in stepping out of that comfort zone, I’ve discovered that bright, vibrant colors can enrich anything from a dinner table to an antique hutch. The bolder designs here at Golden Hill Studio have mostly been inspired by my travels over the years.

Our Peruvian Splendor glassware in rich hues of deep green, purple, magenta and more are a direct result of the beautiful woven items in the markets of Aquas Calientes and Machu Picchu.

The bright turquoise that dominates our Moroccan Mosaic Carnival collection, harken back to the beautiful blue pigmented stone buildings and festive atmosphere of this small, intriguing country.

Our Polynesian Peony glassware doesn’t need much explanation. Although originating in China and Asia, peonies have become synonymous with Polynesian Islands such as Hawaii, Samoa and Tahiti. And lucky for us, they are hearty enough to bloom each spring right here in the northeast!
