That’s right, it’s that time of year where we all scream for ICE CREAM! Unless you’re lactose intolerant, and then maybe you are screaming for sorbet, or a lactose free treat made with soy or almond milk. Whatever frozen delight you find yourself hollering for, make it an event with friends or family.

If you’re all about those outrageous flavors, host an Ice Cream Social and conjure up your inner Ben & Jerry. Make it fun by holding a favorite flavor contest or a blindfold taste test. The winner/s could even take home a pint of Chunky Monkey or Cherry Garcia.

If you’re all about the toppings, then it’s a topping bar you need. Stick with the classics, a rich vanilla bean, a double chocolate and a strawberry and then go crazy with the fruit, nuts and candy. For me, I’d start with a scoop of vanilla, top it with a raspberry sauce, some cashews and semi-sweet chocolate morsels. My next one would be a scoop of chocolate with peanut butter topping and Reese’s Pieces…and don’t forget the whip cream!
