Behind the Scenes at Golden Hill Studio
One of the greatest challenges of what we do at Golden Hill Studio is to keep our products fresh and relevant in an ever-changing, fast-paced world. It is also one of the things I love best about what I do. Last week that included another photo shoot with the intent of highlighting our new products, creating images for a new section of our website (more on that in the coming weeks) and putting a fresh spin on some of our old classics.

Voila, the final image!
It’s always a positive thing when you can collaborate with talented individuals. When you work with them on multiple projects and they become your friends, it’s even better! This was the case when I reunited in Beacon, NY with photographer Rikki Snyder, assistant photographer/stylist Jan Puccelli and social media manager Shelley Nicholson. Rikki and Jan form a well-oiled machine, taking my visions and bringing them to life in pictures. Shelley helps us all determine what will play out well for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest so that we get the right images for our marketing.

I couldn’t be happier with the end result, some of which you see here and boy, do we have a lot of fun while we work!

The end of a long, productive day!
And a special shout-out to my studio assistant/artist, Sarah, who doubles as a gourmet cookie baker. She made and decorated the gorgeous wedding cookies you see here!
