Napa Grapes 'n Vines Collection
Once a valley full of multiple crops, Napa began establishing itself as a front runner in grape vineyards and the production of wine in the mid 1800’s, with the first commercial winery opening in 1859. In the midst of gold and silver mining (Napa was known more for silver) the area quickly became populated with wealthy prospectors and entrepreneurs hoping to find wealth either in mining or wine producing.
By the late 20th century, wine grapes had become the primary crop as vineyards were planted on over 90% of the land. Today, Napa has become a mecca for wine connoisseurs and tourists alike.
At Golden Hill Studio, we designed our Napa Grapes ‘n Vines Glassware to capture the essence of this beautiful landscape. As she so often does, our main artist, Sarah, captures the minute details of the grapes, leaves and vines, all set against a lovely opaque glass with gold details. Whether you are serving an elegant dinner party, or lunching al fresco, our Napa Grapes ‘n Vines Collection helps to serve in style.
